My name is Stokes, and I’m the voice behind this blogging website. I’m a 35-year-old who has lived through the challenges of addiction and recovery. My journey started when I was 24, when I first became involved with drugs. What began as something I thought I could handle grew into a serious struggle by the time I reached 28.
At that point, I realized my life was drifting far away from my goals and dreams. I decided to make a change and entered a rehab center when I turned 30. Recovery wasn’t quick or easy ,it took years of learning, healing, and rebuilding myself step by step.
Today, after more than five years of growth and self-reflection, I’m in a much better place. I created this website to share my thoughts, experiences, and what I’ve learned along the way. My goal is simple: to provide information, encouragement, and clarity for anyone who wants to better understand the rehab process.
I am not a doctor, counselor, or treatment provider, just someone who has been there and wants to use words to make the path feel less overwhelming for others.
If you ever feel lost, unsure, or just need someone to remind you that change is possible, this blog is for you.
